Local Government Relations

At the county level, G.S. Proctor & Associates assists clients in matters ranging from planning, zoning, and economic development issues to wage and benefit matters. The G.S. Proctor Team, coupled with the firm’s understanding of client goals and community needs, has proven experience in developing and facilitating long term “good neighbor” relationships—relationships and partnerships that continue to evolve and benefit our clients and the communities that we serve. G.S. Proctor & Associates has secured grants, amendments, and approvals, through its work with elected officials and the local communities through outreach efforts that ensure that all affected parties are partners in progress.

G.S. Proctor & Associates also specializes in working on behalf of municipalities. We assist our clients in grant writing, securing funds, developing policy issues, and planning for infrastructure development. In addition, we create opportunities for our clients to participate in discussions affecting public policy on a local and state level. We build strong support in the state legislature for the funding of major infrastructure projects. We have secured millions of dollars on behalf of our municipal clients. In addition, G.S. Proctor & Associates monitors legislation to help its clients stay apprised of state and federal regulations and programs that are important to you and your constituents.
